How a minor scrape got sorted easily

I needed Bumper Scratch Repair after a rushed moment left a noticeable mark on my car, but what followed was a much easier than expected fix that brought back the look.

It happened near Trafford Centre on a crowded afternoon when I slightly clipped a low barrier while parking. The scratch looked deeper than expected, and I knew it would ruin the look if left.

Later that evening, I started looking around and came across AutoScratch. The site felt clear, so I sent over a few photos and a brief description. I got a reply sooner than expected with a quote that seemed reasonable, and we arranged a convenient time.

On the day, the technician arrived as agreed and walked me through the process in a friendly way. First, the damaged area was cleaned thoroughly to remove any dirt. Then came the sanding, which smoothed things out. A small amount of filler was used since the scratch had a slight depth, and once that set, the colour matching began. I was impressed by how closely they matched the paint, it looked very close. The blending process followed, where the new paint was carefully blended into the surrounding area so there were no harsh lines. Finally, everything was polished, giving it a smooth finish. Watching each step made me realise how much detail goes into what seems like a simple repair.

Once it was all done, here the scratch was basically invisible unless I really looked for it. The whole experience felt easy to manage, especially since I did not need to leave home. The turnaround was well paced, and the workmanship was clearly careful. That said, I do think this kind of service is best for minor damage rather than anything too severe. For my situation though, it worked out exactly how I needed, and driving past Manchester Piccadilly Station again without noticing the scratch felt like a small win.
